Week 3: Inspection & Maintenance

• Pre-start checks and walk-arounds

• Hydraulic fluid, filters, and track inspections

• Greasing points and wear indicators

• Reporting faults and maintenance logs

Week 4: Operating Techniques

• Starting, idling, and shutdown procedures

• Boom, arm, and bucket control

• Digging, trenching, and backfilling

• Lifting and load management

Week 5: Advanced Site Operations

• Working on slopes and confined areas

• Coordinating with dump trucks and loaders

• Grading and leveling techniques

• Fuel efficiency and productivity tips

Week 6: Assessment & Certification

• Written theory exam

• Practical test on live site

🧪 Assessment Criteria

Successful candidates will receive a PBev Excavator Operator Certificate, valid for 3 years.

📝 Enrollment & Requirements

• Minimum age: 18

• Valid ID and medical clearance

• Basic literacy and numeracy

• Safety boots at a cost (provided if needed)
